If you snore while you sleep, you are actually depriving yourself of good, restful sleep. In addition, your partner may also be sleep deprived since they are kept awake from your snoring.
Short Term Problems From Sleep Deprivation
A sleep deprived person will be less alert and will have decreased performance levels. Feeling sleepy all day will reduce your memory and your thinking will become slower. For couples, lack of sleep on a regular basis will result in relationship problems due to anxiety, bad tempers, and mood swings.
A person that is sleep deprived on a regular basis may lead to occupational injury since the person is not completely alert on the job. Sleep deprived drivers are more cranky, impatient, and bad tempered while driving. Statistics have shown that sleep deprived drivers are more likely to get into car accidents.

Few people that snore know that they snore, because obviously they are asleep as they do it. So it isnt personal experience that tells them instead it is someone who has witnessed and had there sleep disturbed because of it. Although the annoyance of snoring is one of the top reasons to stop snoring it isnt the only one.
For instance, did you know that when you snore you actual sweat more in your sleep? Your body is put through such strain as you snore that it actually causes your body to sweat. Sweating doesnt add to the comfort of your sleep. Snoring also adds to unwanted side effects, although not every side effect mentioned happens to every person they are common. Some of them are irritability, mood swings, depression, and hypertension. None of these are desirable and are more common to occur to someone who snores.
